I am Gunita, an Academic Skills and English tutor at a university level in the UK. I have experienced the process of preparing, accessing, navigating and then excelling at world-renowned UK universities.
With an outstanding background as a fully qualified, professional Academic Skills and English language teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience, I bring personal experience, enthusiasm, creativity and academic expertise to help each student build their skills, grow their confidence and achieve their academic goals.
I have taught Academic Study skills and the English language face to face and online to people from all origins, cultures, ages and backgrounds.
I adapt teaching methods to provide dedicated university support to suit both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
My approach is unique to the individuality of the people I support and coach before and during their university studies. I understand that every student is a wonderful, unique person with their own interests, personality and learning styles. Therefore, I work with each student on an individual basis and focus on their specific academic needs to achieve their full potential and to help them to achieve their own academic success.
The teaching approach is friendly, communicative and professional. I use a variety of learning resources to support my students in their journey, to build an academic relationship that will ensure you can have the best foundation to overcome current and future academic challenges.
